Our Story

Afterlight Support was founded on the belief that every person deserves choice, control, and the opportunity to pursue their goals.

We started Afterlight Support because we saw too many NDIS participants struggling to navigate the system, understand their plans, and access the supports they needed. We knew there had to be a better way—one that put people at the centre and focused on building capacity, not creating dependency.

Today, we're proud to support participants across Melbourne and surrounding areas, helping them make sense of the NDIS, connect with quality providers, and work towards their goals with confidence.

Our Values

Person-Centred

You are at the centre of everything we do. Your goals, preferences, and choices guide our work together.

Strengths-Based

We focus on your strengths, abilities, and what you can do—not on deficits or limitations.

Trauma-Informed

We understand the impact of trauma and work in ways that are sensitive, safe, and respectful.

Culturally Safe

We respect and celebrate diversity. We work in ways that are culturally safe and inclusive for everyone.

Goal-Focused

We keep your goals at the forefront and work collaboratively with you to achieve them.

Capacity-Building

We help you build skills and confidence so you can increasingly manage your own supports.
